Read this before you use the number. The 1,000 ft per hour round-trip allowance is a published planning convention, not a measurement of your rig. Rig cost per hour is also an assumption — practitioners often use the day rate divided by 24, or the day rate times a nominal multiplier, or total well cost divided by well duration. Use this to see the shape of the trade, then replace both inputs with your own figures before anyone signs anything.
